Quick 3 tips for transitioning into Spring.

Trying to transition into lighter colours for spring is pretty damn difficult for me. Like I said in a previous post, I'm trying to do so one by one piece and getting comfortable first before I dive straight into the deep end.
A perfect piece to start off with is a lighter coat - a trench! Switch from a heavier winter coat into a more lighter and still basic coat. It's great for layering over t shirts, turtle necks and shirts without packing in the heat too much. If you're still a bit chilly, then I suggest a scarf to add some extra comfort.
Next is the lighter shade of grey. You guys know I love my darker colours so why not just adjust the shade just by a little? I'm still wearing grey, just a bit more friendlier with the spring palette. Here I've mixed 2 different lighter shades of grey together and it creates such a beautiful balance.
Finished off with a light pair of jeans (knee rips optional) and my favourite pair of white trainers currently; the Adidas Superstars.

I forgot to upload this the other day! Was feeling all the loose and oversized clothing and it was a bit of a gloomy day. Decided to pair my jumper with a perfect matching fedora that I got ages ago from Reiss. I love mixing odd length pieces together with contrasting colours. It instantly uplifts an outfit if you do it right and pick the right pieces.
Ofcourse my Superstars made the cut too, along with my current favourite bag - my JCOS box bag.

So I got all ready to pop over to the bank for a meeting which turned out to be pointless. Don't you just hate it when something like that happens? At least I looked good though right?! (LOL) Just kidding.
I went for something super casual today, my favourite camel coat, scuba sweatshirt (mentioned in my Feb haul here), ripped skinnies and my Adidas Superstar. Super easy, chic and comfortable!

Black out with Levis

------------------------------
My second and last post in collaboration with Levis and it's Line 8 collection is styling an all black outfit. They asked me how to wear black in March/April and in my mind, black is an year colour right? Well it is definitely in my wardrobe but for the more colourful gals out there I thought I would style something that might get you in an all black attire?
At the first glance, yes, this outfit looks quite harsh but pairing it with clean crisp white trainers uplifts it and makes it so clean cut and chic! Starting off with the muscle tee, what I love about pairing it with the other black garments is that the tee is in a washed out shade. Close to grey so creating this contrast just breaks up the colour a little bit from the jacket and the jeans. By adjusting small details like this it's an easy way to introduce someone who stays away from the all black outfits to start creating and wearing them with confidence.
Even with the denim jacket, if it's putting you off as it's blacked out then why not add a fur throw? Pins and brooches to accessorise it up a bit. Accessories really do make an outfit and brings them to another level. Just remember that with an all black outfit, it really is a blank canvas, use accessories, wear with a new hair style or even add in a bold colour lip to really uplift it and bring out your personality. Each outfit can work with the right attitude!

I can finally reveal that I'm teaming up with Levis guys! I'm super excited to be bringing you guys two posts styling their jeans. I've been a huge fan of their vintage mom jeans for ages now but this time I'm going to be styling their 'Line 8' jeans which is more slim and fitted.
The great thing about the Line 8 collection is that it features must have style for the season. It's simple, not venturing away from your classic basics. The minimal and clean cut aesthetic is what I look for in a brand and the Line 8 collection just brings that to the table. This is also bought out in their store based in Shoreditch.
The Levi’s® Line 8 SS15 collection features a variety of fabrics, finishes and silhouettes for women, including leather details and modern interpretations on some of the brand’s most well-known products, as illustrated by the Boxy Trucker Jacket. Other standout pieces in the collection include bottoms in High Rise Slim Fit, Low Rise Slim Fit, and Low Rise Extreme Skinny Fit as well as an A-Line Dress that brings an edgy yet feminine twist to the range.
I was invited to the store to pick out some pieces to style up for you guys and for the first post, I wanted to get myself in these beautiful grey wash jeans. As you guys know, I'm always a black jeans kinda gal but this pair was too beautiful pass up. It goes perfectly with a white tee too and plays in nicely for a more feminine touch. I finished it off with my favourite white trainers of course to tie it in with the t shirt and added on my denim jacket. This is a great way to do double denim - mixing the shades! Don't go too extreme though and I would just stick with two shades. To finish it off as it was a bit chilly, I added this multicolour faux fur throw to add some texture. It's my favourite thing to throw on at the moment and keeps you feeling cosy all the time.
If you guys are around shoreditch, make sure you pop down to the store on 3 Charlotte Road, Shoreditch, EC2A 3DH
Let me know if you do and if you choose a pair of jeans, let me know which pair! I'm intrigued to hear!
Loafer day

--------------------------------------
Threw on something super simple, comfy and chic for some errands. I love simple all black outfits with a touch of colour with a scarf! Scarfs really are my go toe now & I'm loving how such a simple item can make your outfit 10 times more interesting. Especially oversized ones.
Keeping with the black palette, I decided to pop on these pointed loafers from Sarenza as well. As I have mentioned before in a previous post, I love browsing on that site for hours as they stock a variety of styles. They also do their own range which is what I'm wearing with my outfit! I love that the toe cap is a patent leather and the rest of the loafer is suede!
You can always check out Sarenza here!

H&M chunky sweater | Finders Keepers culottes | &OtherStories mules
-------------------------------------------
I've been trying to transition into more lighter colours and lighter textures. Since I'm one for all dark colours, it's taken me a while to feel comfortable in this. To ease into it, I stuck with some faves of mine - culottes, mules and a chunky knit, but by just slowly changing the colour of them I felt that it was more wearable for me.
This chunky knit from H&M was actually a LFW bargain I picked up, H&M were having a seasonal knit sale and I got this beauty for only £10! Paired with a lighter pair of culottes it really brings out the colour.
And these mules, the most beautiful thing ever is from &OtherStories. I saw it online and argued if I should get the these ones or black. I know I probably should of gotten the black but these were too incredible to pass up. They are perfect for spring & summer too. I'll be bringing these to LA with me of course!

So for this post, I have collaborated with Chic Wish to style 2 pieces of their site. They were so lovely & asked me to pick something to complete an outfit so I went for this multicolour jumper and this long black coat. The jumper I think is meant to be a dress but it's far too short so it just gets away with being a top. Which I love as I can pair it over a lot of jeans. It's also not too thick so the coat combo didn't make me too stuffy.
I decided to pair it with some girlfriend jeans and a pair of black boots to give it a really casual look - perfect to go shopping in or to go and grab some lunch. You can shop the post above and take a look around Chic wish if you haven't already. They stock some super cute items and such beautiful coats!
