I have featured this jumpsuit in my February lookbook - if you still haven't seen it then you can watch it here. I love how some and gentle this jumpsuit is but when paired with a pair of white trainers it instantly toughens it up a bit. The detailing on the jumpsuit is also subtle and is key to make it fit your body so well. Without the waist belt the shape would be lost.

Chic layering

I'm always one to layer and layer as I hate the cold weather. I'm starting to do it more chic though rather than just throwing everything on. This is a perfect example of how to layer well and stick with the colour palette. I'm I'm love with my Missguided grey coat, I started off with that over my grey turtle neck, added on my faux fur throw which I've been wearing too much, and added on a mini side bag! Key is to not over layer as you'll get too stuffy when on the move. Keep in minimal and don't layer super thick pieces.

I wore this whilst on the go to grab coffee with a friend in the next town. I needed to throw on something that would make it looked like I spent a decent time whilst getting ready but instead, I just wanted my extra 30minutes lay in bed. I ended up throwing on the trench coat, skinnies, my fave basic tee and these uber comfy pointy boots from Sarenza. I love how they have a textured fabric and isn't leather - they are actually suede! So I can't get enough of these booties that I had to style another outfit with them! Another monochrome outfit I know, but who doesn't love them?
This shearling jacket is perfect for layering as it's quite thin but lined so you don't get too chilly. My new obsession though is pairing it with turtle necks. I seriously need to get more. Turtle necks just goes with everything and keep you super cosy. It goes perfectly with these ripped high waisted jeans too. Now this...is a great and comfy cinema date outfit!
Pinstripe suit

Been looking at this pinstripe suit for ages now on the Missguided website & I caved. It's so simple and slick that you can dress it up or down! Pair with white trainers for a more casual take or white mules like I have here and you are ready to go to an event or dinner! I paired this suit with a turtle neck grey bodysuit, something plain so it isn't too busy with the stripes. Keeping with the colour palette, I didn't want to add a bring colour into the mix so grey was the best option! Let me know what you think below!

My next collaboration with H&M is with their denim range. I wanted to focus this piece on a kick ass girl band 'HAIM' for some outfit inspiration! They style denim so well and their outfits are the epitome of the West coast style. From their gigs to going on tour, the girls always have a denim piece they are wearing and love to mix different shades. They are a huge fan of high waisted denim and the classic denim jackets with oversized vintage tees. I decided to mix these two elements together to create a double denim look.

They style denim so well and their outfits are the epitome of the West coast style. From their gigs to going on tour, the girls always have a denim piece they are wearing and love to mix different shades. They are a huge fan of high waisted denim and the classic denim jackets with oversized vintage tees. I decided to mix these two elements together to create a double denim look.
Starting off with the oversized denim jacket, I went with a shade that is lighter than the jeans, to help contrast with the white t shirt. The cut and fit of this denim piece works so well and you could even layer underneath with a sweater or long sleeve! You can style it up or down and wear with other shades of denim too.
The white low v neck tee is also a fave for the girls, mixing it with a chunky silver chain necklace to add a little fun into the outfit and is perfect to wear from day to night. You don't want anything too outrageous as the focus is on the double denim combination.
Like I said before, the girls are a fan or high waisted denim so these mom jeans are perfect. Wear with loose waves and red lips and you could pass for being in the band! Not only are they a fan of mom jeans but also cut off DIY shorts and leather jackets. Pair them together and you can even create a great date outfit. The key to styling like HAIM and to keep it simple and minimal to create an effortless cali vibe. Bed hair is a go to and chunky black boots or converses are great to finish off outfits!
Monochrome textures

With my love for all things black, white and grey (that basic colour palette) I don't think I've ever really torn them together in a full on monochrome look? Or if I have it's been a while! So I've teamed up with Missguided to bring you this look whilst mixing textures, comfort and my fave colours together!
Let's talk about these ultra amazing faux leather trousers! Oh my lord! They fit me like a glove and are so soft and lined on the inside so it keeps me warm when layering! Not only can you wear it down you can dress it up to the club as well! I wanted to pair mine with a long sleeve knit, this one is super soft and fluffy and is slightly cropped so tucks into the high waisted pants perfectly without having too much excess fabric. Mixing these 2 textures already is a dream, I love the contrast of these next to each other.
It wasn't enough for me though so I threw on this fluffy throw. It wasn't as cold as normal so I just went out with this throw and it kept me warm all day surprisingly! You could though, pair over a camel coat or if you dare it, go double leather and add a leather jacket!
Whilst I was going to be on my feet all day, I thought it would be a good time to test out these boots too. Surprising again that they were comfy. The heels were at a manageable length that I could walk around town in for a couple of hours and not be in pain. The pointed shape of the boots also helped me looked taller. My go-to boot shape as I'm a petite lady!
Not only is this great for a lunch date but also to go shopping in, for dinner and an event! Let me know below what you guys think of this look!
