MARC JACOBS X NY MAG
MY NEW FAVOURITE CO ORD SET MAKES ME SUPER HAPPY
Marc Jacobs x New York Magazine
I don’t think I’ve ever been in love with a co ord set more in my life. i saw this set on devon lee carlson (my biggest girl crush) and was going to purchase it… then the plan gods aligned & I ended up working with marc jacobs again and was kindly gifted this set. i could die happy right now! its their collaboration with new york times magazine and i’m in love with all their pieces in the collection.
i did get some odd stairs off people whilst walking around but they were probably jealous that i was practically wearing pajamas and living my best life. you’ll be seeing me wearing this a lot from now on by the way. love that you can wear the pieces on their own or together with a pair of white heels or trainers!
I wore this set with just my trainers, my daily edited bag and a pearl hair clip. I’ve also linked a few of the other pieces from the collaboration below for you guys to check out!

THE MIDI SKIRT
WHY I GAVE IN ON BUYING THE MIDI SKIRT
I put off getting a satin midi skirt for a while as it was the new ‘it’ piece. I couldn’t decide if I was to buy one, would it be a good wardrobe staple or just another piece I’ll wear a few times and just throw into the back of my closet.
I ended up just going for it and I started off with a light pink satin midi skirt a month ago in LA and it was one of the most comfortable things I’ve worn.
I quickly became obsessed and understood why it was selling like hot cakes, in all prints and colours I started to build up my collection of the midi skirts. This is my latest one from Topshop in black and white leopard print.
I paired mine here with a chunky beige sweater, chunky trainers and a vintage Fendi baguette. I love mixing patterns and textures together and I find that no matter the pattern of these skirts they are great for everyday wear. You can throw on a plain tee or a graphic one and you’re good to go.
I’ve put together a few of my selects of midi skirts i thought you guys might like below! these are affiliate linked by the way.
ITS OK TO FEEL A LITTLE LOST
FEELING A LITTLE IN LIMBO IS PERFECTLY NORMAL
Over the years of being in this industry, I’ve found myself feeling a little lost in the whole creative field.
Feeling like you don’t really belong in a group or not knowing whats next; for yourself and for your career. I struggled with the fact that I felt like I had no other goal to achieve. By 21 I’ve already achieved what I thought I could never financially do - purchase a house. Relationship wise, I’m in a committed and stable relationship , another thing I didn't think I would be able to have. Career wise, this was where it became just a big hole to me, Whats next? When I did think of something there was always a doubt in my mind of someone saying ‘thats not going to work’ or ‘you’re going to need to re-think that’. Still to this day I’m kinda stuck in that limbo and it has such an impact on my mental health even though I think I’m a very positive person. But lately I’ve been chatting to other females in the creative industry and some who aren’t that have given me some wise words that I thought I would share with you guys.
I’ve learnt that its perfectly normal to feel like this and that it is just part of our growing journey.
Everyone will go through this stage in their life. It will either be for a week, month or years but the trick is to make peace with it. After hearing that I thought to myself ‘wait, why am I panicking or even worried about not knowing whats next?’ I’ve made peace with a lot of things in my life especially death. I use to be so scared of it and panicked about it consistently after my aunt passed away. But instead of using it as a negative and low moment, I turned it around and started living. Appreciating life and living it to the fullest. If I had that mentality, why not apply it to this limbo I’m in? I started looking at it totally differently. This phrase in my life where I don’t know whats next is me stopping and smelling the roses. I’ve always had a busy schedule and saying ‘yes’ to everything which did put me onto a path of some sort but maybe it wasn’t in the direction I wanted to go. I realised I was so work focused that I neglected my relationship and family a little but now thats what I put first on my list. I see this time in my life as a sort of break. To clearly think about the future, what I want to do and what to achieve.
It’s ok to take a breather and understand that we can get ourselves out of any situation with the right mindset.
I hope that this may help some of you guys in any way as i’ve been getting a few messages on how i tend to keep my life on the right track and if I felt a little lost in my career and life. if you have any questions feel free to leave them below!
A fresher take
Dressing for Spring with a lighter colour palette
A wardrobe refresh for spring. Switching out the dark colours for a more lighter palette and experimenting more with neutrals.
beige jacket - plt • trousers - aland • shoes - topshop
blouse - LA • bag - the daily edited • hair clips - ajouter store
Seeing hair clips come back into our daily styling makes me so happy. Reminding me of my younger days where all I wanted was braids and clips.
Chloe & I unintentionally matched our outfits on this day. Couldn’t been any more perfect with the tones, fabrics and textures!

CHA YEN
WHEN YOU MATCH YOUR DRINK TO YOUR OUTFIT
This post is not sponsored. Items by Nasty Gal and Cinco were gifted.
Cha yen runs everyday in Bangkok so I thought I’d match my outfit to my drink
Lately I’ve been loving neutral tones. I’m gravitated towards more browns, beiges and creams as we start the year. Of course I still love my darker colours but dressing more ‘lighter’ has been appealing to my mind. Wearing different fabrics that I’m not used to like linen has also been a fun challenge. Pairing it with some satin pieces has elevated my outfit.
I’ve linked my outfit below for you guys if you like any of the pieces. They are perfect for hotter climates and these pieces were really easy to wear in humid weather.

SATIN DREAMS
MY DEEP LOVE FOR SATIN BLOUSES HAS REIGNITED
MY DEEP LOVE FOR SATIN BLOUSES HAS REIGNITED
A satin blouse, something every girl should have in their closet. A staple piece that can transform you from day to night. It’s a piece that is sophisticated and sexy at the same time. I love to wear mine with some statement jewellery - especially gold and layering them up. I’ve also gone back to loving hair clips, my 6 year old self would be so proud. I remember wearing about 10 or so clips in my hair when I was younger and going into school with a head that could set off a metal detector or be confused with a disco ball. I love that the trend of hair clips are coming back and that there are so many chic ones now! I’ve put together a selection of my favourites down below. The one I’m wearing in the photos is actually from the Triplet’s collection! Definitely my favourite piece of theirs. You can check out their collection here.
My go to outfit with the satin blouse is to keep it simple with some vintage levis and black boots. I actually wore this outfit out to dinner in LA with my leather jacket too or you can pair it with a long trench coat for a super chic look! I’ve put together some of my fave satin pieces down below for you to guys too!
FIND YOUR SPARKLE WITH ACCESSORIZE
This holiday season I’ve teamed up with Accessorize to show you guys my favourite pieces from their Christmas collection & how I style them.
This holiday season I’ve teamed up with Accessorize to show you guys my favourite pieces from their Christmas collection & how I style them. The pieces I’ve chosen are so versatile allowing you to wear them daily and even wear them in the evening.
‘Accessorising is my favourite part of putting together any outfit. From a statement bag to a bold piece of jewellery - it can elevate any outfit
You can be wearing an all black outfit and elevate your look, making it look much more chic, by choosing the right accessories, like in the above styling looks, I’ve paired a statement clutch with some bold jewellery pieces to add in some luxe detailing. I would be so thrilled to receive these kind of pieces for Christmas as they are perfect for the party season and going out. Definitely something you can wear from day to night and totally affordable too. You don’t have to splash out to create an outfit that has a luxe feel as long as you get pieces that look the part! It’s all about how you style the items together such as pairing these statement pieces with a more tailored look to create something more edgy.
‘Embellished beads just adds an element of luxury and playfulness’
Styling this clutch for a more day time look - again worn with the statement jewellery pieces in the previous outfit (which you can pick up in an accessorize store or order online) - are perfect for everyday wear too. I love mixing textures and prints together to create a fun and playful outfit! You can quickly change this from a daytime look to a night time one by throwing on a pair of heels and adding a sparkly eye shadow to match the jewels and clutch. Accessorize have a huge range of bags that are perfect for the party season and I wanted to get all of them for sure!
Night time jewels should be simple, elegant but also make a statement
I am a gold over silver kinda gal and Accessorize has such a great selection of jewellery pieces all the way to clutches and cosy gloves and scarfs! I went for these star art deco inspired pieces for an evening outfit - keeping true to my style and layering the pieces together. I love how they sparkle against my sequinned top and go so well with a red lip! You can also elevate this look even more with a messy bun and add some sparkly hair slides or hair band which you can get in store for that effortless chic look. Throw on a pair of heels and a leather jacket and you’re good to go!
PIECES I’M WEARING
So for this holiday season, have a peak at Accessorize’s Christmas collection - the perfect destination to find gifts for your family and friends. Even if you’ve been super organised and have already done your Christmas shopping - why not treat yourself? I know I’m going to be rewarding myself this year for sure!

DTLA
SPORTS LUX CO-ORD
I’m all for comfort dressing and this outfit was one of my favourites. (Its also in my favourite colour - green)
I picked this outfit up whilst I was in LA in October and thought it would go so well with DTLA. I popped by, caught up with friends and explored a bit more of the area. Its not my favourite area in LA but I there are so many good restaurants there. There's going to be a LA eating guide up very soon! I just have to complete the post as its quite a bit one but keep an eye out for it!
Jacket and track pants from Style Delivers on Melrose, trainers are Missguided and the bralette is from Calvin Klein.
