LFW PHOTO DIARY
I got my films developed from lfw and i thought i would share with you guys what i got up to. i didn’t take my camera to a few things as i was carrying around a small bag and my camera broke after we took the last image on this post which was a bummer.
stayed at kettner’s in soho. one of my favourite places to crash whilst in london.
arrived at the apt x starbucks pop up and we were greeted with unlimited pumpkin spice lattes!
there was also sweet treats by dee’s basement and of course i had to have some
like this vanilla and lemon cake. i could of happily eatten the whole table if we didn’t have to leave for dinner.
trying to show off my new nails i got done at house of lady muck.
me with my cake. very h a p p y here.
more of my nails.
these two talking about music as usual.
how cute is kitty’s bag? i was obsessed!
we had dinner at temper. it was a mexican restaurant hence the tacos and margs but there was also a roast. i wanted both so we ordered both.
the next morning i had paul costello to attend.
it was a lot of florals, 60’s to 80’s vibes. brihgt colours and girly prints.
this was a bit too house wife for me but he did have this beautiful dress with a tie dye kind of print which was insane.
met up with kaylum and shot some outfit pics.
early morning rise the next day and started off with an acai bowl and matcha latte.
didn’t take my camera to the pushbutton show but came back to hotel and took it with me to lunch with vanessa. she took me to her friend’s poke place and it was delicious!
it was called polu poke and you can find them here
next i had to rush to my shoot with ysl. we filmed something really fun and i can’t wait for you guys to see it. i’ll keep you guys updated on when it will be live.
worked with Marcio again for this campaign and he does my make up so well. i asked for the jlo glow and he delivered.
then i had to come back and get ready before the big launch event that night. i had sherrie and ashley come over to the room to hang out. we had take out and caught up with each other. a much needed girl time.
i hadn’t seen ashley in a while and thats what i love about lfw. everyone is in town so you can catch up with your friends.
these girls <3
we had to use up the rest of the film on the roll…
my camera broke after this which was a pain as i wanted to shoot around the party. the bright side was i got to enjoy the night without over thinking too much about capturing pictures! i hope you guys enjoyed this round up! i can’t wait to share my next trip with you guys.
THE MASCULINE SUIT
Nothing i love more than a suit. either its a form fitting tux or an oversized casual suit. i found this one on yesstyle as it fits like a glove. the perfect olive green colour too to pair with my beige biancakourt bucket hat which i’m obsessed with! i’ve style my suit here with a more masculine touch with the trainers, oversized structure and the bucket hat. to make it more feminine you can slick black your hair, add some chunky gold hoops, a red lip and heels!
I’ve linked a few more styles that i’m loving down below!

DRESS APPOINTMENT AT KINSLEY JAMES
I ended up at kinsley james in west hollywood for my one of my last visits to a bridal showroom in la and my visit did not disappoint
I popped into Kinsley James for my dress appointment.
I ended up at kinsley james in west hollywood for my one of my last visits to a bridal showroom in la and my visit did not disappoint. I started off with showing my stylist with a few screen shots of dresses that i loved from their site like i did at en blanc. its such a helpful tool for when you first meet your stylist so they know what kind of dress you have in mind and can also pull out other pieces they think you might like. in this case i had about 4-5 dresses i screen shot and we picked out about 10-12. we ended up not trying them all on during the fitting as when i tried on the other dresses i got a quick sense of what i wanted. here are some of the dresses i tried on from kinsley james, i unfortunately didn’t take note of each designer i tried on but you should be able to find them on their website or dm them on instagram!
I ended up taking my girls tina and fong to this fitting and we had so much fun. we drank mimosas and had the best time!
The classic romantic
This was such a beautiful dress. Simple, classic, chic and comfortable. I wasn’t a huge fan of strapless as I felt like my small chest wouldn’t look right but this fitted so well and complimented my frame. I love the see through corset detail and the beautiful lace train on this one!
The effortless boho
I felt like this beautiful dress is perfect for the classic laid back style of a boho girl. Of course it would be a lot more fitted but the front has a relax fit and it would be beautiful with some dainty jewellery. i love the high slit on the side and this lace was incredible. The material wasn’t as comfortable as I thought but it was still stunning.
The edgy romantic
This dress off the rack was insane. I thought it was all 1 piece but it turned out to be 2! The beautiful fitted floral lace gown is underneath then you add on the dotted netting and tie the waist with a silk string. It was so unique and I’ve never seen anything like this before! I loved pairing my necklace to drape around the back instead of the front too making it a bit more playful. There was also some see through mess for the the chest area which makes it so much more comfortable.
The ruffle princess
This dress was definitely too girly for me but I couldn’t not try it on. I think this was the first one I tried on and I felt so feminine in it. I loved the deep v neck and the ruffled skirt. I didn’t think I would suit anything like this but it definitely surprised me.
The Khaleesi dress
Now, this one is perfect if you love Game of Thrones. I felt so dramatic and powerful in this one. The cape, the sequins, the drama! The material was a bit scratchy though and felt like this fitted more with a winter wedding or something dramatic like a castle.
The vintage floral
This beautiful gown was very vintage inspired with the lace. I love that it was minimal but not too plain. We then also added with floral lace jacket over the top and it transformed everything. I was really set on this dress for a long time because of the jacket!
The big news!
i ended up finding my dress here! I’m super excited to show you guys. i won’t be posting about it on socials untill the wedding as i don’t want oli to see but i’m just super excited and over the over moon to find ‘the one’. i’ve never seen anything like it before and i just had a wow moment when i tried it on. i’m officially a kinsley james bride! thank you so much for the kinsley team for making my visit so easy and fun. i can’t recommend them enough.

A BIG MOMENT AT MONIQUE LHUILLIER
I’ve waited so long for this moment
I’ve waited for this moment since i was 15 and never thought i would be standing in a monique lhuillier boutique trying on wedding dresses. i made a last minute appointment whilst in la to try on this dress i had in mind for the wedding. i ended up trying on 2 other gowns from the store and it was such a magical experience. i was torn between one from here - simple, classic and super chic and the one from kinsley james. i ended up going to the appointment falling in love with a dress. it could potentially be my reception dress but i’m taking a moment to decide for now.
The everest dress
The corset on this dress was so beautiful crafted. It hugged in all the right places and was super comfortable.
This dress just magical. The dramatic ruffles and the lace was so beautiful.
THE SELENA DRESS
This dress was so perfect but unfortunately out of my budget. It’s beautifully crafted with one of a kind lace you can only get on this Melrose boutique.
I did add a choker to the dress above to tie it all together and it was insane. I did fall in love with this dress but it was just out of my budget unfortunately. I really recommend heading to the melrose boutique for an appointment as my stylist lindsay was really helpful and patient with me.

GIRLY VIBES
Taking another step into a more feminine wardrobe
I’m such a tom boy at heart but since I’ve gotten engaged I felt like I’ve gotten more in touch with my feminine side. I’ve started wearing lighter palettes, gravitate towards more to a feminine wardrobe and wearing a lot more colour too.
This dress sums up my current mood. Its girly yet fun and playful. With its floral print I wanted to keep the styling pretty simple. I paired with Daily Edited bag with it and wore my go-to trainers the Reebok Club C.
This dress is from a new brand called ‘Kitri’ which I’m in love with. Their pieces are worth checking out if you love feminine patterns with a vintage feel.
I love experimenting with different styles of dresses lately so expect to see more of maxi dresses, midis and playful silhouettes.
I’ve linked below my dress and some other cute styles I’m eyeing up as well!

MARC JACOBS X NY MAG
MY NEW FAVOURITE CO ORD SET MAKES ME SUPER HAPPY
Marc Jacobs x New York Magazine
I don’t think I’ve ever been in love with a co ord set more in my life. i saw this set on devon lee carlson (my biggest girl crush) and was going to purchase it… then the plan gods aligned & I ended up working with marc jacobs again and was kindly gifted this set. i could die happy right now! its their collaboration with new york times magazine and i’m in love with all their pieces in the collection.
i did get some odd stairs off people whilst walking around but they were probably jealous that i was practically wearing pajamas and living my best life. you’ll be seeing me wearing this a lot from now on by the way. love that you can wear the pieces on their own or together with a pair of white heels or trainers!
I wore this set with just my trainers, my daily edited bag and a pearl hair clip. I’ve also linked a few of the other pieces from the collaboration below for you guys to check out!

TRYING ON DRESSES AT EN BLANC, LA
I tried on some wedding dresses in Los Angeles!
EN BLANC
The past few weeks I have visited a few wedding dress boutiques and i wanted to start off with en blanc in LA. I found this boutique on instagram and it was as beautiful in real life! the decor was right up my street and the vibe was super calm and chic. i had already pulled up a few screenshots of the dresses that was on their website and we went from there. i was taken through the racks of the various designers they stock. this ranges from Amy Kuschel, Catherine Deane, Chosen by One Day and Flora to name a few. i wanted to share with you guys some of the dresses i tried on there.
I wanted to share some of my dress shopping experiences with you guys as i start my wedding journey. I’ve even created a new tab above for all wedding related posts.
THE BELLE
DRESS
This dress was just insane. I felt like a princess straight out of a fairytale.
THE FITTED DRESS
This beautiful sequinned one fitted like a glove and was so elegant.
THE FITTED FLORAL
Just couldn’t get over this one. The lace detail was everything and it fitted my curves so well.
THE DELICATE LACE
This lace was on another level. So soft, so delicate and romantic. The perfect dress for a boho wedding.
THE FLORAL MASTERPIECE
This beautiful dress was all covered by big floral lace pieces with a mermaid style skirt. It was so lightweight and comfortable to move around in.
THE SHOW STOPPER
This was something I never thought I would try on but it was just sparkling away in the light. I put it on with a perfectly matched nude bodysuit and it was just insane. Perfect for a wedding on the beach.
