VICTORIAN BUTTERFLY

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it at the Revolve Social house. I had to try it on and it fitted me beautifully. Its definitely not something I usually go for as its rather feminine for me but I've found that my style is in the stages of evolving again. I'm currently drawn towards light fabrics, colours and ruffles. Even though its such a beautiful dress, I had to pair my beloved black boots with it as well edge it up a bit. I really never though I could pull something like this off but I've learned the as long as you wear it with confidence and stay true to your style, you can pull off anything. You can see this dress ft. in my LA look book as well which you can watch HERE

Here one of my last looks from LA...

Here one of my last looks from LA... This outfit fits so perfectly with the interiors at the Charlie Hotel. It's one of my favourite all time comfortable outfits to wear! Always love adding printed boots to any outfit to give it a classic western feel. I would of also switched the plain black vest with a vintage band tee or turtle neck for the colder months.

My hotel in LA was situated in the beautiful Sweetzer Ave and I couldn't help but stop and take an outfit photo. Each buildings were all unique ranging from modern sophisticated lines to a worn away white spanish home. I would happily take any of them to be honest! I decided to wear this beautiful floral slip dress from Nobody's Child to compliment the Spanish houses and the flowers growing outside them. Having on such a feminine dress I decided to pair with it my favourite boots from Public Desire and these studded hardware bucket bag to even it out.

MANGO COWBOY BOOTS (SIMILAR HERE)
A day full of back to back meetings last week in LA but I managed to at least captured what I wore! After a few cloudy days in LA the sun finally came out to play. I finally got to wear my Nobody's Child co-rd set and it was super comfy which was what I needed! I ended up walking up and down Melrose in my cowboy boots and had a lot of compliments with this 2 piece. Nobody's child is a brand I've grown to love quickly over the past few months. You'll see over the next few blog posts why as I'll be featuring their pieces. Thats what I pretty much wore whilst I was in LA! They both are such a perfect pair and really affordable too. Here is a better look of the outfit I wore in my recent YSL post!
It's been one of my go to's lately as its so minimal and chic! Perfect for a day of meetings and catching up with friends around London.

I forgot I had this gem of an outfit still to published from my LA trip back in March. I'm off there again this weekend for my best friends birthday so I thought I'd make this one live before it gets backlogged!
I wore this on the first day I was there - we checked into Tuck hotel the night we arrived and came down the next morning to grab some breakfast. It just recently opened in DTLA and it does not disappoint. I was obsessed with every single detail down to the layout and plants. We ended up turning the restaurant into a mini shoot location and captured what I was wearing.
I kept it simple in this gingham slip dress which fitted like a glove btw. Paired it with my fave all white trainers from Saint Laurent and accessories with my Saint Laurent bag and Ray Bans. Perfect for a stroll after breakfast which was what we did!

Summer in the city with Black Opium
My scent of the summer is none other than one of my favourites, Black Opium. Even better, YSL has the perfect day and night combination from Black Opium Floral Shock and Black Opium EDP.

My scent of the summer is none other than one of my favourites, Black Opium. Even better, YSL has the perfect day and night combination from Black Opium Floral Shock and Black Opium EDP. Click read more to see how I spent my day in London alongside the Black Opium duo!
With my day starting off with a quick breakfast meeting, I got ready with my favourite YSL beauty products and created a soft and glowy look perfect for the summer. I added a sun-kissed finish with the YSL Sahariennes bronzing stone to my cheek bones and used it to slightly contour the face. I popped on my minimal jumpsuit which is perfect when I'm in a rush as it's super chic and classic. Paired with a leather jacket and white trainers and I'm out the door!
After my meeting finished I decided to head to my usual coffee place 'Kaffeine' to grab a bite to eat and a soy iced latte. I had the rest of the day free so decided to explore Soho a bit more on foot and did a little bit of vintage shopping.
I took my Black Opium Floral Shock in my bag to top up during the day too. I love how light but fresh it is with notes of pear, citrus and freesia. I didn't have to keep topping up during the day as it clings onto the skin for hours. If you don’t really love typical girly floral scents for summer, this is a great alternative if you’re looking for something a bit cooler and interesting. I had to headed back to my hotel after a few hours exploring as I had to get ready for a friends gig in the evening. To transform my look from day to night I used the products below to create a light smokey eye finishing it off with a dark lip (Rouge Fur Couture in shade 14) and a classic cat eye flick. I normally create a darker more exotic look when I go out in the evening which really complimented the darker sexy scent ofBlack Opium EDP.
Before heading out I had to stopped by the Long Bar at Sanderson for a cocktail with a few friends before we headed off to Shoreditch for a night of music and food! It ended up being such a great night catching up with friends and I even got asked a few times what scent I was wearing! You can get your Black Opium Floral shock here and Black Opium EDP here!

TOPSHOP HEELS SIMILAR HERE
I've never worn a dress like this before but I love how simple and sophisticated it was! I toned it down with this distressed denim jacket and then added these polly cat eye sunnies from Topshop to give it a vintage feel. I also ended up wearing these gold heels to match my gold jewellery and surprisingly my new comfiest heels I own! I even wore them 'out-out'!

Re-writing the style rules with River Island
Re-writing the style rules with River Island
I can finally share with you my new campaign with River Island! This campaign is all about breaking the style rules and mine was breaking the barrier between smart and casual.
I wanted to take something that is on the end of each spectrum and pair them together to create an outfit that you can wear to a meeting then straight out to dinner. Who other to take inspiration from than Rhianna - the queen of smart casual. I love how she can create such a bold look when she mixes casual and smart pieces together. You know how I love to create outfits that are fun and mix matching pieces - breaking he barrier between traditional styling and creativity so this was the perfect fit!
My motto has always been wear whatever the f**k you want and own it. You shouldn't care what others think about you or what you're wearing so just do it. Style is a way of expressing yourself in a personal and creative way! To view more of the campaign click here.
