COMMISARY at The Line
This is such a long overdue post on one of my favourite places to eat in LA. Don't worry, there will be more to come! Commissary is set in a beautiful big green house on the 2nd floor at the Line hotel. Even before I was staying at the Line I would wonder down and go for breakfast. These images were taken from my trip back in November where I went with Oli. Since we were staying at the hotel we ended up here most mornings as it was just a few floors below us. The vibe is pretty easy going, a fusion of Korean inspired dishes are throne in there too. My favourite dish to have there is the congee and the pancakes! Highly recommend them as I ended up having those a few times. But everything else is also delicious.
I also love that the mugs and glasses you are served with are all mix of vintage pieces and hand crafted ones. Makes you feel right at home or at granny's house. Not only is it pretty in the day time, I also reccomend going at night time. The fairy lights create such a warming atmosphere and it's a great place for dinner with friends. All the food is served family style which is lovely and different than to what I usually experience here in the UK. You get to sample so much food and when it comes to splitting the bill - it couldn't be any more simpler!
Let me know if you guys are visiting LA any time soon! I will definitely be posting more LA hot spot recommendations soon as I'm off back there rather soon!

Baba Jaan swimsuit
A quick snap of what I wore to the pool when we got to our resort in Pattaya. It feels so strange to chill out in a swimsuit and sip fresh coconuts. It's definitely been a while since a holiday like this and I wish I was back already! Hopefully my next one isn't too far off!

Spring changes
Photos taken by Leanne Lim-Walker
Been loving girly dresses lately which is super surprising to me. I've never been the one to go for such a feminine piece but something about spring has got me to change my mind. Of course, I still stuck by my gut and paired it with my Adidas Stan Smiths and leather jacket to keep it very 'me'.
Missguided Monday fix!
A selection of my picks from the site to chase away the monday blues! Happy shopping!

Skater chic
Neon rose duster
Vintage levis
Converse trainers
Brandy Melville top similar
Kozhan Numbers bag
This was one of my favourite outfits I wore whilst in LA. I was heading out to Bottega Louie for brunch and wanted to wear something really comfortable but chic at the same time. I went for my vintage levi cropped jeans, converses, a knitted white polo top and this super chic and minimal duster coat from Neon Rose. I just love the shade of it against the vintage levis and how it really transformed my outfit. I could of paired it with heels and head out for dinner in the evening!

Keeping comfy in Bershka & Relaunch party comp!
So I've teamed up with Bershka to create a comfy off duty look which I wore to my meetings today! I opted for this light weight bomber jacket as I didn't want to get all sweaty and paired it with a classic white tee. I'm loving this combo at the moment - the plain tee and a bomber. They work so easily and you can dress them up or down. For the jeans, I went with something a bit more rough and relaxing so opted for these blue wash skinnies with a raw hem line at the bottom. They worked so well with the bomber and plain tee combo and made my outfit look rather chic and effortless. I'm also loving espadrilles at the moment and these were perfect for the day! They are a combination or sneakers and espadrilles which I love. Really comfy too and I love how they also have raw edges which ties in nicely with the jeans. To finish off the look I went for a 'big girl' bag - my Givenchy and a classic pair of John Lennon-esque sunnies!
Bershka are also relaunching their flagship store on Oxford Street this Thursday with Amber Le Bon and Whinnie Whilliams who will be DJ-ing and I have some tickets to the launch party to give away! The winner will receive a £100 Bershka voucher with a ticket to the party for you & 2 friends! Also 4 runners up with also receive a ticket and a +1 to the party! All you have to do is send an email to bershka @starworksgroup.com with the subject 'I DRESS MYSELFF X BERSHKA' You also have to be UK based! Goodluck!

The perfect shirt dress
My search for the perfect shirt dress has finally come to an end! This one from Urban Outfitters fits me perfectly and the length falls to the right height where I don't felt like I'm swamped. I've paired the shirt dress with these beautiful suede boots from Vagabond which has a sleek round toe and makes my legs look a bit longer. The heels on these made it really easy for me to walk around in them all day in comfort!
As I had a lot to carry around I opted for my backpack. I just fell in love with the shape and how spacious it was. It was big enough to fit in my iPad pro, diary, hair brush, make up bag, purse, camera and charger! I also used it whist traveling to the airport and it was such a space saver. I definitely need more of these shirts in all the other colours cause they fit so well and was so comfortable. Perfect for my trip to Thailand in less than two weeks!

Thursday was spent brunching with Sienna and Eric.Shooting more content and exploring a bit more of melrose to look for locations. I wanted to dress in something comfy as I was going to be walking around a lot so opted for my Adidas Stan Smiths, high waisted shorts, loose fitting tee and this huggable knitted cardigan. Green machine
Zara bodysuit
Topshop Jeans
Perverse sunglasses
Zara shirt
Mango boots
Celine bag
So for our first day in LA I went for something super casual but chic as we had a meeting and then a coffee date afterwards. I wore out my western boots from Mango for the first time and they really weren't too bad to break them in.
I also went for a body suit which I don't normally do and this one from Zara was super comfortable and fitted me really well. Completed the look with my safari shirt and these bad ass shades from Perverse sunglasses to match! I was really comfortable and didn't have to worry about the cold as the weather in LA at the moment is the perfect temperature!
Keep an eye out for Leanne's outfit on her blog soon!

Photos by Callum at Girl in the lens
I had a pretty stress free LFW last week purely because I was emotionally exhausted and wasn't feeling like myself. That led to me only attending about 3-4 shows instead of my planned 15. Since I ditched a lot of the shows, I decided to wander down to the Apartment and caught up with some old faces that I have seen in ages and made some new friends over food and coffee.
I caught up with Natasha from Girl in the Lens and Ngoni from IAMNRC to see what was going on in their lives as it was about last August since I last saw the girls! Callum also hung out with us and took these lovely photos of us gals catching up. Thanks Callum!
