H&M Student collection - College/Uni look

Hey guys! Another H&M collection post. Today I wanted to introduce you to the H&M DIVIDED collection, perfect for students. Even though H&M is already pretty affordable to students and have a lot of awesome deals on, the pieces from DIVIDED are based around fashion and comfort for your busy days. All items (apart from the bag) are from H&M DIVIDED!

I don't go to university myself but have already gone to college, so I wanted to style an outfit that is fitting for both. I wanted something that's smart casual and interchangeable. Which means (if you guys don't know already) where you can mix and match another item into the mix. I'll give some examples of these later on in the post.

Starting off with the top half. I've gone for some layers, thin layers so you don't get too hot. I've first put on a navy loose vest, then layered on the white shirt and finishing it off with this grey mix knit cropped sweater. What I love about this sweater is how comfy, warm and lightweight it is. So you can deffo take it off & tie it around your waist if you are getting a bit hot. I kept the colour palette pretty simple, no bold prints or bright colours. I find that wearing these colour is super easy to mix and match.

Moving onto the jeans, I picked up this pair from H&M for only £14.99! Even better that the quality will last you for a good time period and the fit is so flattering! They also have an offer on at the moment where you can buy one pair and get another for free! So definitely take advantage of it!

I went with black, as again you can pair it with other pieces and it goes with EVERYTHING! In your university or college wardrobe you should definitely invest or choose pieces that will go with a lot. Invest in the garments that are going to carry you through the years.

To go with the jeans and sticking with the comfort aesthetic of the outfit, I opted for slip ons. You can also however, pair with basic flats, sneakers or boots if you wanted to wear some heels for the day!

These slip ons are a bit different than some others that I have seen. These ones kinda look like fur but it's kinda more on the fluffy side. They were also a saviour at LFW! I was wearing heels all day and Oli picked the slip ons out for me and they ended up being super comfy. Think these have over taken my love for my mesh slip ons. The texture of these really adds an element of smart modern to the outfit.

Oh & don't forget the bag! Here I've just paired it with an oversized bag to be able to fit all the books and notes in for the classes. Oh & a laptop if you guys take one. H&M DIVIDED also provides some awesome back packs too if you are wanting to switch things up a bit! Just make sure it's a decent sized bag and everything fits!

Right, last thing! H&M are also doing a student discount. This only works in store and all you have to do is show your UNiDAYS iD on the app at check out for 20% off! This is valid till the 5th October 2014!

Easy Sunday

COAT - ROMWE | BOOTS - OFFICE | BAG - ALLSAINTS | DRESS - ASOS

---------------------------------

So the past couple of weeks have been super busy, I do apologise for not blogging as much as I should but I also haven't been home for a good week or two! I've been at LFW, meetings, filming and out & about. I can't tell you guys much about everything now but I will do as soon as I'm allowed to!

Anyways, it's actually a bit chilly today despite the sunshine making an on-off appearance. I opted for something comfy, simple and warm (Don't I always?!)
So this coat, does it look familiar? Zara has one exactly like this but I couldn't pay that much for a coat - I think it was somewhere between £70-£90?, so I saw this on ROMWE and HAD to get it! It's legit the same and the quality is good so far! Oh & did I mention it was only about £24 with a discount code!

I just paired it with a simple black cami dress, it's actually an inside slip from another dress, my cowboy boots from OFFICE; which are actually not as bad to walk in as I thought they were!
Oh & finishing it off with my mini pony hair bag from AllSaints. I thought the green kept the colour pallette pretty A/W and perfectly casual.

Let me know how your weekend was and what you love to wear on a sunday below!

Chicwish styling!

All items from CHICWISH
Fringed sandals [sold out but similar here]
Classic black tote bag [sold out but similar here]

-----------------------------------------------

Hey guys! So I was contacted by CHICWISH to style 2 outfits for you all! Bare in mind that I did order these items about 3 weeks ago now, so it's pretty summer based. but still awesome for those odd hot days the UK seems to have every now and then!

I wanted to pick something thats more of a bohemian vibe and I hope you guys would think so as well! The first outfit, I picked out this folk patterned blouse (which I actually think is a dress!) and paired it with my most comfiest jeans. This is perfect for grabbing coffee or walking the dog! Which I ended up doing so! I love the frill tie detail that it has, which is similar to an ASOS I have.  What I really love about this one though is that it has hints of blue and green.

I paired it with these awesome mint coloured fringe sandals. The large fringe detail really caught my eye and reminded me of ACNE. They also look really expensive too which is a bonus! Oh! Finished off with a classic black tote, perfect for taking notes about or an iPad, or to do food shopping with. Over all, this outfit is great for a casual comfy day but makes it look like you have put in a lot of effort when you haven't! Also, if you get chilly, just through on a duster or trench coat!

So moving onto number two. This dress again is a cotton basic dress. Dresses like these are perfect to throw on when you really don't know what to wear and it's perfect for so many occasions. Again I've paired it with the fringe sandals as it was pretty warm today. I just went and did some errands, walked the dog and went for a coffee. Finished it off with these floral inspired/scallop sunnies and off I went!

The main aesthetics to my outfits these days are comfort. Comfort really is key and chic wish have such awesome pieces to add to your wardrobe. They are also student friendly. Which in my eyes are perfect on a student budget, which discounts running all the time and the free shipping!
So why not treat yourself? Let me know if you have down below or if you have made your first purchase from CHICWISH!

Marble skater.

Dress - Jaggar | Leather jacket - AllSaints

------------------------------
Been obsessed with marble ever since I met Natalie in Las Vegas. That girl has gotten me hooked on so many things. So when I saw the print, I knew I had to have it.
Jaggar has become one of my fave Australian labels, the aussies really can do no wrong.
I also had to get a blouse in this print. Oh & a cape jacket.
See... this label is too good.

Recovery.

Bag - Thattfashion | Jeans - ASOS | Shoes - Converses | Jacket - AllSaints
Dino tee - DEPOP [similar here]

[Hair extensions applied by BEYONG GLAM SALON]

--------------------------------------------
Recovering from LFW as the pass 2 days have been non stop, probe had about 7 hours sleep and I'm so knackered. I'll be doing a post shortly on my FW experience this season. I do however, think this this was the bed one so far just because of all of the people I met and my friends.

Anyways, I had to go and get some food for the house so I wanted to dress super comfy. My feet officially hate me from wearing heels all day for LFW day 1. I don't usually wear heels and I'll be sticking to flats for some time now. I haven't work my high waisted black mom jeans from ASOS in a while, tbh, I actually forgot I had them as they were at the bottom of the pile. I forgot how cony they were!

This dino tee, it's a vintage piece I found via depop. I love it. Best £2.99 bargain I think! This bag is also from Perrileigh's store (where you can also find the chanel back pack)

I've been wanting this bag from ACNE for a very long time & I couldn't justify spending that much for a tote. So check out her dupe store & see what bargains you can snag up!

Let me know how your LFW went if you did attend down below!

Pardon my french

Bag - ROMWE | Mensy blazer - Topshop | Jeans - Topshop | Crop top - Enter Utopia
Boots - Lamoda UK | Watch - Nixon

-------------------------------

So, first of all, how cute is this 'Pardon my french' crop? It's like having Dexter with me every where I go! I got this crop in my youtube swap package with JOELLENLOVE! A video of our swap will be up soon and you can see what other goodies I got sent!

Also this bag, so even though I have a Sophie Hulme, it's amazing but with a burgundy colour, I can't wear it with much. So I found this dupe on ROMWE! Holy shizzle, I was super happy. There was also a white one if you guys prefer!

Oh & can we talk about this beautiful chunky booties? These babies are of course from LAMODA UK! They do the best affordable shoes. I was lucky enough to be sent these and hope I have styled them in justice! The platform isn't too high so it's pretty comfy to wear all day and not too chunky!

Paired this all with my mensy blazer from Topshop which I included in my Topshop University haul [you can watch it here if you missed it]

Just wanted to keep this outfit comfy and clean. Let me know below if you guys like this outfit below!

White shirt styling

White shirt - Zara [similar here] | Brogues - Hobbs | Bag - Topshop | Jeans - Topshop
Watch - Nixon | Lipstick - Kate Moss X Rimmel

--------------------------------------------

Summer is coming to end *sad face* but I did miss the good old layering and covering up. Todays weather hasn't been that bad, a tad chilly but no rain (yet!)

I thought I wold wear my white shirt but spice it up with some gun metal brogues. These babies are from Hobbs and wow, they really took my breath away. I love how on the end of the laces there are tassels [something I've never seen on a pair of brogue before!]
I love shiny things and with these being shiny really add an element of effortless chic to any outfit. I love pairing the gun metal with rose gold. The contrast really compliments each other.

To add a bit more colour I paired this outfit with my Topshop burgundy bag. It's a little bit of colour but nothing too out there. I wanted to keep it simple.

Pretty good for a university outfit as well! If you get cold you can just pop on a camel coat or duster jacket.
