LFW SS18 DAY 1
CAN YOU BELIEVE LFW HAS COME AROUND SO SOON?
IMAGES BY CHLOE HELEN MILES
Can you believe London Fashion week has come back around so soon? It felt like a few weeks ago that I was here in February and this year has definitely flown by. I wanted to show you guys my outfit for the first day. Weathers been a bit bipolar again today and I kept wearing my jacket half off my body. I've been obsessed with red jackets & coats lately and found this beautiful aviator one from Missguided. I've paired it with these Vetements style denim, a vintage t shirt and these studded 'Celine' like boots. Thankfully my schedule isn't too hectic this season and I actually have time to shoot, catch up on work and friends! For more up to date and BTS content, make sure you follow me on instagram! Co-ord dressing in DTLA
We were heading to Little Sister in DTLA so I thought I would quickly capture what I was wearing! Since i was in a bit of a rush from running around Melrose I popped back to the hotel and threw this stripey co-ord set from Nasty Gal on with a black bodysuit I picked up. The weather was perfect that I didn't get chilly (another reason I love LA). I paired it with this beautiful blue velvet J.W Anderson bag and I was out the door! Also wearing these beautiful sunglasses that I got as a gift from the Line Hotel! It was a collaboration with them and you can find them here.
BLOOD BEETLE
When you love beetle juice so much - you take styling tips from him
When you love beetle juice so much - you take styling tips from him. Once I saw this pinstripe suit at Topshop I was in no rush to take it to the till and leave the building happily. I've been wearing the blazer and trousers on their own and as together as a suit as well. With it being so versatile I've gotten away with it being casual and smart casual. Hopefully in a few weeks time I'll be able to film a suit lookbook for my youtube channel and show you how to style them to work effortlessly into your wardrobe!
SATIN LINING
I'm like a magpie when I see anything shiny especially if it has an oriental print to it
I'm like a magpie when I see anything shiny especially if it has an oriental print to it. When I spotted this on the Missguided site I had to order it straight away and the rest of history. To style a print like this- I like to keep things simple. A clean contrast jacket and some white trainers are perfect. If you want a more out there approached then you could pair the dress with a silver leather jacket and chunky boots too. Let me know what you think below in the comments section! And let me know what you would like to see more of on my blog!

WHO ISN'T OBSESSED WITH HAIM'S NEW ALBUM?
AFTER SEEING THE VIDEO FOR 'I WANT YOU BACK' ALL I WANT TO DO IS RECREATE THE DANCE MOVES AND THE STYLING. THIS SONG WAS DEFINITELY IN MY HEAD WHILST I WAS SHOOTING THIS. I CLEARLY WANT TO BE THEIR 4TH SISTER AND JOIN IN WITH ALL THE MOVES & I HAVE NO SHAME IN SAYING THAT.

I'VE BEEN HEAVILY INSPIRED BY HAIM LATELY & I LOVE HOW EFFORTLESSLY CHIC THEY ALL LOOK. I'VE BEEN DRAWN TO MORE PATENT MATERIALS, LEATHER AND THE VINTAGE LOOKING FRAMES. I ALREADY LOVE AN FRAME THAT HAS AN 80'S FLARE BUT THIS ONE FROM MISSGUIDED WAS SUCH A KILLER STEAL.

I've been attached to this ever since it fell into my hands. I mean - just look at how beautiful it is?! It's really lightweight so perfect for the warmer weather we've been having but its also wind proof so great for when we come to Autumn/Winter. With it being such a neutral colour jacket I've been pairing it with everything and I love the oversized tent fit. I've paired it with a sheer long sleeve, black denim skirt, Gucci sunnies and finished it off with a pop of red! I also bagged these boots in the Topshop sale for only £30! Bargain! I love how I can wear this to meetings and then straight to drinks or an event after as its kinda smart casual. I think adding the red lip also finishes off the look so well!

Another from the lazy dressing series - for when you have to get dressed but don't really want to. To note, this wouldn't be something I would wear out during the day - it's more of a night out outfit! I'm definitely going to be wearing this out in LA next month. I wanted to give my girl Danielle Guizio a shoutout as this sheer cropped shirt is a piece from her label and its pretty bad ass. To be honest, everything from her label is bad ass. Check them out here

With what I was saying earlier in regards to my style yet evolving again into a more open and colourful mindset. Ever since LA I felt like everything had change. My attitude, my outlook on the world, my style and my craving of wanting to learn more. I've come back a totally new and refreshed person and for that I'm excited to see where my mind will take me next. Ive already built this new site on my own and I'm so proud of that (gives self pat on the back). I felt like it was a time of refreshing everything. With this site I do want to write more and share with you guys more. I'm not saying I'm going to jump into the deep end - I'm still a private and observed person but I want to make this platform an outlet of some of my thoughts, style and even beauty discoveries. To create a platform where I am more myself, to grow and learn from others and not be afraid to share. I am in no way great at writing so bare with me a while whilst I get acquainted to tapping away my thoughts. With venturing into this more open world I'm stepping into something I never thought I would feel comfortable in doing. This site will still be mainly focused on fashion and beauty but know that every now and then I'll throw in some life thoughts. So please feel free to let me know if you have any questions - on anything! I'll be writing down lists of blog posts/topics and hopefully I will get to cross them off one by one.
I hope you're exiting to go through this journey with me! I can't wait to see where this will take us!
VICTORIAN BUTTERFLY
I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it at the Revolve Social house.
I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it at the Revolve Social house. I had to try it on and it fitted me beautifully. Its definitely not something I usually go for as its rather feminine for me but I've found that my style is in the stages of evolving again. I'm currently drawn towards light fabrics, colours and ruffles. Even though its such a beautiful dress, I had to pair my beloved black boots with it as well edge it up a bit. I really never though I could pull something like this off but I've learned the as long as you wear it with confidence and stay true to your style, you can pull off anything. You can see this dress ft. in my LA look book as well which you can watch HERE
