So this season has been the best one yet. I think mainly because of the people I was surrounded with that I haven't seen in such a long time. It was so nice to catch up with everyone and share the whole experience together.
FRIDAY
I kicked off my LFW SS15 with the Ming Pin Tien show, I've never heard of the label before and fell in love instantly with the cut, colour, minimal aesthetic and the awesome fluffy sandals. My eyes were on them through out the show. I love how every piece was wearable and could easily to be workable into my own wardrobe. The atmosphere also of the presentation was so calm and blissful and that definitely represented in the collection.
After the show I headed back to Somerset House to hang out with other bloggers and youtubers at my media companys office. We had some nibbles, chatted, laughed and took photos! (of course!) Haven't seen these girls in so long so it was such a lovely way to spend the rest of the day.
Headed to GYUNEL after that, I actually had about 5 shows on the first day but Oliver & I were so tiered we just chilled and headed to go and get some thai food instead before heading to GYUNEL.
The pieces there were very resort like, unfortunately I didn't get any photos as my phone died! I must say I wouldn't wear most of the collection myself just before it was too feminine for me but I did love the use of the olive green in the collection. We headed home straight after as we had to come back in the day next for a 10.30am show at the ME hotel.
SATURDAY
Started off the day at 6.30am with a cuppa of course. Getting ready in such a hurry and headed straight into the car to attend the ASLI POLAT show at 10.30am on the ME hotel roof top bar.
I have never been to a show/presentation like this before and the location was so breath taking. You had the view of London right in the background and the set was covered in white flowers.
I was loving the lace, florals and pastel blues. Those pieces remind me of Alexander Wang actually, with the back splits as well. Straight after that, we had to rush over to Zeynep Kartal at fashion scout.
The show was so beautiful, the collection really would be perfect for either a gala or a prom. The finishing dress though, was a flower bomb. The dress was pink and had 3D flowers, it really is so girly but I still would wear it.
So that was the only show we attended on the saturday, so we then headed back to the thai restaurant with a blogger friend of mine, Gail. It was so lovely to finally meet her and catch up!
We stuck around a bit at Somerset house and then headed home! My feet at this point were in a lot of pain, both from the first day and saturday that me & Oli just decided to head home early.
To go back and relax and see little Dexter!
It was such a fun and intimate two days that was filled with only just about under 7 hours of sleep. I'm so looking forward to next season and maybe I might even bring Dexter next time! Who knows!
